What is PMU?

Permanent makeup is a cosmetic technique that involves tattooing pigment into the skin to create the appearance of makeup. This can include enhancing eyebrows, eyeliner, lip liner, and even creating the illusion of fuller lips or more defined features. The pigment used in permanent makeup is designed to fade over time, but it is intended to last for several years. The procedure is typically done with a machine that uses a needle to puncture the skin and deposit the pigment. Permanent makeup can be a great option for those who want to save time on their daily makeup routine or those who have difficulty applying makeup due to physical limitations. It is important to choose a skilled and experienced permanent makeup artist to ensure that the results are natural-looking and flattering.

Consultation

A permanent makeup consultation is a meeting between you and I to discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure. During the consultation, I will examine your skin and facial features to determine the best approach for enhancing your natural beauty. I will also ask you questions about your lifestyle, daily routine, and any medical conditions or medications that may affect the procedure.

The consultation will provide an opportunity for you to ask me any questions you may have about the procedure, including the process, the types of pigments used, the expected results, and the potential risks and side effects. I may also show you photos of my previous work and provide recommendations based on your preferences and skin type.

After the consultation, I will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan that meets your needs and desires. This may include recommendations for the type of permanent makeup to use, the color and shape of the pigment, and the number of sessions required to achieve the desired results.

Overall, a permanent makeup consultation is an important step in the process of enhancing your natural beauty through permanent makeup. It allows you to ask questions, gain a better understanding of the procedure, and make informed decisions about your treatment plan.

Create it.

The day of your appointment we will start cleansing your skin to be treated and start the measurements/drawing. This is when I use precise measurements to suite your face. Whether it be new eyebrows, lip blushing or eyeliner, I always take my time with the pre-draw. Next we start the procedure, keeping you comfortable with a numbing agent. In about 2 hours from start to finish, you will be amazed at your new permanent makeup. See you in 6 weeks for your “perfecting appointment”.

Long lasting.

After your initial 6 week touch up, you will not require a touch up for at least 1 year. Every client requires touch ups at different times due to skin type, sun exposure, environment, aftercare etc. Some clients come annually, some can go 3 years. After you have a permanent makeup procedure done by me you will be fully educated on the proper aftercare for ultimate healed results!
