What is Powder Brows?

Powder brows, also known as ombre brows or shading, is a semi-permanent makeup technique for eyebrow enhancement. It involves creating a soft, powdered look on the eyebrows, similar to the look of wearing makeup.

The technique involves using a digital machine tool to create small dots of pigment in a gradual, fading pattern. The dots are layered on top of each other to create a soft, powdery effect, with more density at the bottom of the brow and fading towards the top.

The technique is ideal for clients who want a more defined, filled-in brow look, but prefer a softer, more natural result than traditional eyebrow tattooing. Powder brows can be customized to match the client's natural brow color and shape, and can be tailored to suit a range of skin types and tones.

The results of powder brows are semi-permanent, meaning that they will gradually fade over time and may require touch-ups every 12-18 months to maintain the desired look. Overall, powder brows are a great option for clients who want a low-maintenance, natural-looking brow enhancement that lasts.

What is Lip Blush?

Lip blush is a semi-permanent makeup technique that involves adding a tint of color to the lips. It creates a subtle, natural-looking effect that enhances the natural color and shape of the lips.

The technique involves using a digital machine tool to deposit pigment into the lips, creating a soft, diffused effect. The pigment is applied in layers to build up the desired level of color and coverage, and can be customized to match the client's natural lip tone or a desired shade.

Unlike traditional lip tattooing, which can create a harsh or unnatural look, lip blush creates a soft, velvety effect that looks like a subtle stain on the lips. It can also help to define the lip shape and create a fuller, more youthful appearance.

The results of lip blush are semi-permanent, lasting for around 12-24 months before gradually fading. The technique is also less invasive than traditional lip tattooing, with minimal discomfort and downtime.

Overall, lip blush is a great option for clients who want a low-maintenance, natural-looking lip enhancement that lasts.

How long will my permanent makeup last?

It's important to keep in mind that the results of permanent makeup can vary from person to person, as everyone's skin heals and accepts pigment differently. However, with proper care and annual touch-ups, you can expect your eyebrows to maintain their enhanced appearance for 1-3 years. Similarly, lip blushing and permanent eyeliner can last an impressive 3-5 years, with touch-ups at your discretion. While the retention of the pigment may vary based on factors such as skin type, age, lifestyle, overall health, bleeding, skin products, supplements, medications, and aftercare during and after the healing process, you can rest assured that with proper care, your semi-permanent makeup will enhance your natural beauty for years to come.

How long is the appointment?

Your first permanent makeup session is a comprehensive process that typically takes between 2 to 3 hours. During this time, we'll carefully review your paperwork, apply numbing cream, pre-draw the shape, and perform the procedure itself. I take great pride in my work and I never rush the process. Instead, I take my time with each and every client to ensure the absolute best outcome possible. My keen attention to detail ensures that everything is perfect and the end result is exactly what you want. Touch-ups are usually shorter, taking about 1 hour to complete.

How is the healing process?

The healing process for permanent makeup can vary, but it typically takes about 10-14 days for the skin to go through all the stages of healing. During your appointment, I will provide you with a thorough aftercare plan and explain the healing process in detail, so you know exactly what to expect. It's important to note that you may not see the true color and shape of your new permanent makeup until approximately 28 days after the procedure. However, rest assured that with proper care and patience, the final result will be well worth the wait.

Does it hurt?

To ensure your comfort throughout the procedure, I apply a topical numbing agent that effectively minimizes any potential discomfort. While pain tolerance can vary from client to client, the pigment and numbing agent may initially cause a slight burning sensation that fades within seconds. Some clients have even fallen asleep during the procedure, while others have experienced a mild tearing sensation. Ultimately, everyone's experience is unique and I work closely with each client to ensure their comfort and satisfaction throughout the entire process.
